Lenora Lewis is a native of Jackson, MS and a graduate of Jackson State University, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communications. She is also an Employment Law Specialist, holding certification from Columbia Southern University and a Mississippi Real Estate Salesperson.
After graduating from college, she moved to Southern California where she resided for 16 years. During this period of time, she began a career in the Insurance Industry working as an Insurance Claims Specialist.
In 2001, she returned to Mississippi and continued to work in insurance at Total Transportation of MS as their in-house Director of Risk Management, as well as their Director of Human Resources.
Lenora is currently employed at Fisher Brown Bottrell Insurance Company, an affiliate of Trustmark National Bank, as a Senior Client Executive, where her expertise is in Commercial Underwriting.
Throughout the years of being curious about the ends and outs of Real Estate sales, and wishing she had known more prior to the purchase of her first home, Lenora knew that Real Estate would be something she would pursue one day. The ultimate goal being to educate new home buyers, while putting them at ease with a sales agent that offers professionalism and integrity. During my research in locating a broker to assist me in this journey, Hopper Properties was my clear choice as I thought this brokerage most closely mirrored my mission.
Lenora is a 2007/2008 graduate of Leadership Greater Jackson, and a former 11 year member of The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Central MS Chapter where she served on the board in the capacity of Vice President of Membership and Financial Secretary. She is currently a member of the Mississippi Association of Pageant Judges, and has been for the past 20 years. She served as the associations President for a total of 6 years and is currently on the board as the Treasurer. She also is a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals.
In her spare time, Lenora judges beauty pageants across the state of Mississippi. She loves to travel, scrapbook and is a cyclist. She loves art and believes that art takes on many forms of expression and creativity, and its true meaning is identified by its creator. Looking at residential properties and the potential for buyers and sellers alike, to envision the possibilities of creativity in either purchasing a new home, or assisting a seller in staging an existing one, I hope that my eye for the arts in that regard will prove to be rewarding for my clients.
