Chad is currently a licensed real estate agent with Hopper Properties and uses his extensive Rolodex of relationships built throughout his professional career in Landscape design, restaurant ownership, and a lifetime spent outdoors that started with family in Port Gibson, MS.
His career(s) started as a graduate of Jackson Prep in 1996 where he played baseball and went on to Mississippi State University. At MSU, Chad joined Sigma Chi and began a double degree in Landscape Architecture and in the Business School with a degree in Landscape Contracting.
These two degrees sent him to Tupelo MS where he designed and installed landscape projects and saw firsthand the ins and outs of commercial bidding and project management. He worked directly with owners fulfilling the beautification process of high end residential and commercial real estate.
With his wife Mary Katherine, who he fell for at MSU, they decided to move closer to home and embark on a new adventure in Jackson metro area and start a family. Family started with their first son Camp, now 17, and a Senior at MRA and rounded out with Nash, now a Freshman at MRA.
Chad returned to Landscape design and contracting with a strong focus on more commercial bidding and contracting where he worked on projects like the Federal Courthouse in Jackson, Hinds Community College, Housing projects for the State of Mississippi, Delta Industries Headquarters, and high end residential projects around the metro area.
Not done yet with fulfilling life experiences, Chad moved into business ownership in the restaurant industry. In 2009 he opened and operated a Beagle Bagel franchise in Madison and a Greek concept called Atlas in Jackson and Clinton until 2022. He has some of the most well rounded experiences and relationships procured over the last 15 to 20 years that have provided an incredible opportunity to serve his clients in the field of real estate.
Since selling his restaurants he has decided to come full circle with the outdoors and his passion for leading and providing clients with personal, one on one attention in order to achieve their goals of real estate ownership. A lifetime spent outdoors, coupled with business ownership has uniquely positioned Chad the ability to provide top notch attention and service for his clients.
Chad has a passion for the outdoors and a passion for helping you realize your goals. He loves working with clients hand in hand and believes communication is key to that. He says “A goal must be communicated and communication will reach the goal.”
Chad lives in Madison, MS where loves to tinker in his garage, his 12 year old black lab, Emma, at his side. A computer open to the latest “research” on duck trends is most likely close by, and a keen eye on his boys (Camp and Nash) baseball comings and goings. He and Mary Katherine have been married since 2005 and still act like they are dating.
